Terms and Conditions for the ‘COVI Supershow’ Competition.
By entering the ‘COVI Supershow’ Competition, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions:
This Competition will be conducted via the ManawatuNZ.co.nz website. To enter you must complete the online competition form on the ManawatuNZ.co.nz website, including providing your email address, between 18 March and 26 March 2021. The two competition winners will be drawn on 26 March 2021.
1. The promoter is the Central Economic Development Agency Ltd (CEDA), TSB Tower, Level One, 1-19 Fitzherbert Avenue, Palmerston North, New Zealand.
2. Only one Competition entry per person (Entrant) is permitted.
3. By entering the promotion, the Entrant agrees to have their email address supplied to ManawatuNZ and to be communicated to via CEDA owned email channels.
4. The information provided by the Entrant will be used for entry to this Competition and for CEDA visitor related marketing promotions.
5. By entering the promotion, the Entrant accept the Terms and Conditions herein stated.
6. The Winners will be selected randomly by a computer process that produces a verifiably random result from those valid entries received during the Competition period.
7. The Winner will be contacted directly via the email address as provided on the entry form.
8. The Winner must make contact by email reply within 72 hours of being contacted to ensure adequate time for redemption of the Prize.
9. If the Winner fails to respond and contact CEDA within 72 hours, a redraw will take place to ensure that the Prize is awarded.
10. The Competition is only open to individuals 18 years or over.

a. I/we are currently trading profitability and our trading outlook is positive. We are not aware of any circumstances, outside of COVID-19, that would impact negatively on our financial position over the next 12 months

g. Provide a copy of your latest financial statements or management accounts to CEDA for the purpose of confirming your businesses financial viability, or alternatively provide a written statement from your organisation’s chartered accountant to confirm the viability of your business as at your August management accounts. Any information provided to CEDA will not be shared, stored or kept by CEDA
4. CEDA reserves the right to limit the number of entries per category
5. No current sponsor of the Awards may enter the Awards
6. The decision undertaken by judges is limited to information provided by the business during the judging period. Additional information provided outside these stages will not be considered
7. Any information gathered during the Awards and judging process will remain strictly confidential

Here’s everything you need to know before applying for our Study Manawatū Scholarship.
1. These Terms apply to the Study Manawatū Scholarship that will be open for applications between 12.00am NZST on Thursday 10 September 2020 and 5:00pm NZST on Thursday 29 October 2020.
2. Entries start at 12:00am and close at 11:59pm every day between 10 September – 28 October 2020, and start at 12:00am and close at 5:00pm on 29 October 2020.
3. The Scholarship owner is Central Economic Development Agency Ltd (CEDA), TSB Tower, Level 1, 1-19 Fitzherbert Avenue, Palmerston North, New Zealand.
4. Valid applications must be submitted via the website or by emailing the Talent and Skills Senior at CEDA at kristi.atkins@ceda.nz. Large files should be sent through WeTransfer.com
5. Each application submitted must comply with the following (failure to do so will result in disqualification of the applicant’s submission from consideration):
a. be a video of maximum 2 minutes in length, OR a written essay in English no more than 500 words long, OR a photo series/essay containing no more than 10 images and accompanied by no more than 150 words in English
b. be the entrant’s original work and does not infringe any copyright.
c. must not be offensive, illegal, obscene or pornographic.
6. By submitting an application, you agree to give CEDA rights to use the copy, video and/or photography to promote Manawatū as a study destination royalty free.
7. Scholarship recipients will be selected by a judging panel consisting of three (3) judges. The recipients will be contacted via their supplied email address before 5.00pm on Friday 20 November 2020. The recipient must make contact with CEDA by reply email within one (1) week of being announced/emailed.
8. Scholarship recipients will receive a scholarship to the value of $1,000+GST to be spent on study or course related expenses only. This may include but is not limited to:
– School or course fees
– School uniform
– Books or study related stationery
– School activities such as sports fees, extracurricular trips or club activities.
9. The scholarship will be paid in full to the secondary or tertiary instituted with whom the recipient has enrolled for 2021. The recipient will then work directly with the provider to determine the spend and distribute the funds. The scholarship funds must not be used for the purchase or supply of alcohol.
10. Scholarship recipients names may be published on Palmerston North City & Manawatū Facebook page and in any associated communications made by CEDA.
11. Staff and immediate families of CEDA are not eligible to enter.
12. Travel and other incidental costs associated with claiming the scholarship, are the responsibility of the scholarship recipient.

9. The scholarship will be paid in full to the recipient in the form of vouchers for specified items at the business where the items are to be purchased, or providers of membership/training to be received. The scholarship must not be used for the purchase or supply of food or alcohol.
