With the Summer Break just around the corner, we’ve collated a list of some of the awesome events and activities happening in Palmerston North city and Manawatū that you can get involved in. Many are free, most are designed specifically for international students, and all of them will be fun, relaxed and give you a chance to meet new people or reconnect with old friends.
Over the summer we have all our usual great tourism offerings operating from river rafting, farm visits, walks and hikes, and more. Some key things you’ll want to check out include the Central Energy Trust Wildbase Recovery Centre, where you might get up and close with a kiwi, our He Ara Kotahi Bridge, which is almost 200 metres long and gives you views of the awa and city, or visit one of our many museums such as Te Manawa, New Zealand Rugby Museum or the Coach House Museum – which will take you back to NZ’s good old days.
As well as these, we are crafting some specially designed events and activities just for international students! Check them out and register below.
