Roseburn Park

http://www.roseburnpark.nz/

This garden shows a focus on creating a large country garden with a number of large trees being planted.

Detailed brick paving and walls feature in this sloping hillside garden with the box hedging leading down through terraces to the lower gardens and ponds. Wander through areas of shrubs, dogwoods and hydrangeas to the creek. Roseburn Park (previously known as Wakefield’s Lodge) has been planted with year round interest in mind. Rhododendrons, prunus and mass plantings of daffodils bloom in the spring, followed by hydrangeas and perennials in the summer through to large plantings of deciduous trees in the autumn and finishing with trees planted for their form and bark in the winter.

Open: All year by prior appointment
