Red Cross Service Centre, Palmerston North

About

New Zealand Red Cross is excited to announce that registrations are now open for Red Cross Journey 2019.

Red Cross Journey is a step a challenge. The idea is you walk 10,000 steps a day, either as an individual or a team whilst raising vital funds for people in need, you do this by asking friends/family and/or colleagues to sponsor you for your efforts or by organising fundraising events such as Morning/afternoon teas, sausage sizzles, a quiz, a garage sale, guessing games, exercise events… really anything you can think of. As you walk you will receive updates on the real journey of a Red Cross delegate or former refugee family that have resettled in New Zealand to motivate you along the way. All you need to get started is a pedometer or phone/watch that tracks your daily steps.

Registrations are open from the 1st to the 31st of August and the event runs from the 1st to the 21st of September.
