Follow the wide grassed pathways through the Pohangina Wetlands and see the native bird life. Native grasses, bush and trees are aplenty here, surrounding the many ponds of all shapes and sizes. The wetlands are in a ‘Charitable Trust’ to keep it as a wetlands habitat. It is free to visit, just follow the signs and stick to the pathways.
