Penhaven sits upon 20 acres with uninterrupted stunning views of the Tararua Ranges. The large spray free gardens produce a range of vegetables, and fruit and nut trees. Marie and Paul have an eco-friendly way of living, being conscious of the impact on their environment. In the evening enjoy a home cooked dinner using produce from the farm with Marie and Paul. Then in the morning relax and enjoy a continental breakfast using home made produce. Marie has a menagerie of friendly animals. They rear calves in a purpose built shed every spring. A unique farm stay to enjoy an eco-friendly and nearly self sustainable NZ way of life on the farm. Marie and Paul designed their home, creating a haven on the family farm that Marie was raised on.
