Friday’s in Feilding are a hive of activity, with the award-winning Farmers’ Markets in the town square and the weekly livestock sales at Feilding Saleyards – one of the Southern Hemisphere’s largest stock saleyards.
As for the great outdoors, with the Ruahine Ranges on the back doorstep of the town, a network of parks and reserves, including the beautiful Awahuri Forest-Kitchener Park, and the west coast beaches less than 30 minutes drive away, the options to get back to nature are many and varied.
