Greenhaugh Gardens surround a 19th century colonial homestead. Wander through the pergola and box edged borders spilling with roses, lilies and bearded iris. Take limestone paths through drifts of colourful poppies, alliums and many unusual perennials. Cross the bridges over the ponds, pass through the shaded walk, returning via the vegetable garden to the plant nursery. Here many of the unusual plants and bulbs found in the garden are for sale. Visit Jacob the donkey and if you’re lucky you might get a lamb to feed in the spring. Picnickers are welcome.
Monday to Friday all year. Weekends and group bookings are by appointment.
