While we’ve all been staying safe and staying home over the last few days, in true Manawatū spirit, many locals have been asking, what more can I do to help in the coming weeks?
We know it’s the people that make our region so special and we’ve all seen first-hand that together we can make incredible things happen! So, we wanted to make it easy for you to support one another in a time where we all need it the most by pulling together a list of some local and national organisations that need your help right now.
To provide the fastest and best support possible to the community, the Salvation Army have combined their food bank services with Methodist Social Services, Crossroads Church and Just Zilch, and moved into a delivery-based model. The best way to support the Food Bank is by donating online to the appeal.
