With Christmas on the horizon, it’s finally Christmas parade season! Manawatū has plenty of parades on offer, to delight those young and old. Featuring tinsel-decorated floats, festive music and of course Santa Claus himself.
Rongotea Lions Christmas Parade
Rongotea and Districts Christmas Parade leads the parade season, featuring floats from local schools and clubs, bands, vintage machinery and plenty of stalls for a fun afternoon for all the family in Douglas Square, Rongotea.

Palmerston North Christmas Parade
Christmas celebrations will be going off in The Square from 12pm with a pop-up playground and fun for all before the Palmerston North Christmas Parade starts at 2pm with around 60 floats. The route begins at the Railway Land, goes up Church Street, around The Square and down Main Street South back to the Railway Land.

The Ashhurst Christmas Parade is a fun, community event held in the Ashhurst village. Featuring a fair and community market so you can do some Christmas shopping while enjoying the festive parade!
