Tullaghan (gaelic for 'little hill') is truely a unique experience by any stretch of the imagination. Nestled in the hills behind Massey Universtiy, this stunning lodge oozes charm and personality with more than a few surprises in store for the intending guests.

Conceptually designed by your hosts, Elizabeth McGuinness and Paddy Doyle, and brought to fruition by the renowned architect Brian Eliot, this lodge is unlike any other in New Zealand.

The Lodge features a large Irish-style country kitchen, sumptuous lounge, home theatre/library, gym facilities, expansive gardens, a Canadian hot tub and wonderfully appointed bedrooms.

Tullaghan will delight and impress even the most discerning of guests. Fergus Doyle, our famous Irish Wolfhound will be delighted to welcome those who are partial to big softies!!

Tullaghan boasts a significant art collection of New Zealand and international artists. Musical instruments are also in abundance should you wish to indulge. Elizabeth will be delighted to provide harp recitals on request.

Quality cuisine is paramount at Tullaghan. We pride ourselves in using premium products supplied by the best artisans in the country. Wild venison, wild pork, crayfish and paua feature on a regular basis. Vegetarians are very welcome. Premium New Zealand wines have pride of place always - not to mention the vintage whiskey collection!!

And by the way . . . Consider Elizabeth the best concierge you've yet to meet. Your wish is her command. . . be it outdoor pursuits, specialist dry cleaning, arranging a surprise for client or comapanion . . . or something rather unusual . . . no problem!! And Paddy . . . well, he's on hand to chaffeur you wherever your fancy takes you.
