Kimbolton Hotel – A family friendly pub in the heart of Kimbolton, check out the menu and indulge in some hearty pub cuisine. The hotel is also a registered park over property so self contained motorhomes and campervans are welcome.

The Bridge Cafe – is a quirky, country style café situated in Ballance, just a short 25 minute drive from Palmerston North. A great option for the whole family with native bush and the Manawatu River nearby and a large outdoor area perfect for the kids.
the herb farm gardens & café – Enjoy locally sourced food that nourishes the soul. While there check out the fourteen themed gardens that stretch over 2 acres including the fairy garden and ‘Herbitton’ popular with the kids. The gardens are free to enjoy or groups of 10 or more can book for a fascinating guided tour of the gardens ($5 a person). The Herb Farm also offer ‘Hands on’ workshops where groups can create a cream. Visit and see the living magic at work in the gardens and experience it by using their products available in the on site retail store.
