Pohangina Valley Estate

Pohangina Valley Estate is a small family run vineyard just 25 minutes from Palmerston North. It is open for tastings and sales Oct - Dec Sundays only 11:00am  - 4:30pm and January - April Saturdays and Sundays 11:00am - 4:30pm.  All other times by appointment.  The vineyard produces pinot noir, pinot gris and chardonnay wine varieties and whilst only on their third vintage the owners have picked up a silver medal in Cuisine and two bronze medals at the Abrogato Wine awards.  The vineyard is part of a working farm and olive grove. The vineyard provides a unique experience for visitors providing the opportunity to meet and talk with the owners in a picturesque setting.

Nearby attractions include Waterford Cafe, The Herb Farm, the wind farms on the Tararua and Ruahine mountain ranges, and Manawatu Gorge.

Pricing

Wines are $30 and $35.  There is no charge for tastings.

Tours by arrangement with a maximum of 15 persons.

Accepted payment methods include cash, cheque and direct credit to our bank account.
