World-class scenery, and friendly and interesting locals were highlights of our weekend trip on The Country Road.  The part cycling (fat-wheel), part car trip took us over 500m above sea level to charming tea rooms where we dined on homemade scones, to wetlands, country pubs and fascinating museums featuring local history.

Along the way we held a barbecue dinner and a shared lunch for the local community.
