Cycling – A diverse network of trails from city to country are prominent within the outskirts of Manawatu and the surrounds. This includes one of New Zealand’s Cycle Touring Routes, the Manawatu Cycle Way on The Country Road, as part of the New Zealand Cycle Trail. Palmerston North City is also a cycle-safe city, making it an avid cyclist’s paradise.
