Palmpex 2010 Stamp Show

This is New Zealand's National Stamp Exhibition for 2010 with many of the best stamp exhibits in the country, covering a wide variety of subjects, on show. There is a new 'Championship Class' in this show that will give everyone a chance to see top New Zealand exhibits previously awarded Gold medals at international exhibitions. A new 'Development Class is expected to attract lots of first-time exhibitors. Exhibits in the 'NZ Challenge Class' will show that collecting interesting stamps does not have to be an expensive hobby. There will also be exhibits from New Zealand's young collectors. NZ Post and up to 20 stamp dealers from around the country will be there too. If you are a stamp collector, this event is not to be missed. If you are not a collector but interested in New Zealand's stamps and postal history, or if you just enjoy the beauty of stamps from New Zealand and the world, there will be lots of interesting things to see. There will also be activities for young collectors and visitors to take part in. So come and have look - entry for the general public is FREE!
